Text messaging, also known as SMS, is one of the methods that Fashion Camp uses to communicate with customers. This information will not be shared. Message frequency varies.


OPT IN DISCLAIMER: A mobile number is required to receive text messages. We are unable to send text messages to landlines, and we are only able to send to one mobile number per customer. By agreeing to receive text messages, you acknowledge that standard text messaging rates from your wireless carrier may apply. Any costs related with receiving a text message are the responsibility of the individual receiving the messages. Check with your cellphone provider for details on receiving text messages. 

  • Your information/data will not be sold or shared 
  • User’s personal info will not be shared or sold to third parties for the purpose of marketing. 
  • No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We collect only the information necessary to provide and improve our services. This may include name, email address, etc. We do not sell, rent, or share this information with any third parties.

The information collected is used solely for communicating with the intended party. We do not share your information with external parties for marketing or any other purposes.

To opt-in for texting services using one of the methods below: 

-Checkout: there is an option to opt in for text messages. Check the box and see the details listed below.

-Website: Consumers can opt-in for text messaging by filling out a form on our website in contact information The form is sent to our customer management database and recorded.

-Email: Consumers may email us their consent for text messaging us. The email is sent to our customer management database and recorded.

-Customer Initiated: Consent is obtained via a customer-initiated text. The phone number is listed on our website here The Op-in disclaimers are listed directly below the phone number in clear view. -Verbal: Consumers can opt-in over the phone or in person. To collect consent verbally, we will have a tracking system to show how and when they provided consent. Example: Consent and the number will be obtained virtually. Support representatives will ask the customer if they would like to opt in for updates. Their verbiage includes the following script: “Would you like to receive text messages concerning any updates to your account information/registration confirmation from Fashion Camp? Frequency may vary, and message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to opt-out or call 714-259-0946 for additional information. You can also find our privacy policy and terms of service on our website at”

When you opt-in at check in one of the many ways above, Fashion Camp will/can send text message notifications for:

  • Registration Confirmations 
  • Class information/Questions
  • Membership Hours
  • Fashion Camp News & Offers
  • General Questions

Conversational : Two-way conversation between Fashion Camp and customer, initiated/requested by the customer. Texting will be used by representatives to provide customer support with accounts and classes when asked. Messaging will be used to answer consumer concerns about accounts, products and services. Texting will be used for more casual conversation. While typically initiated by the customer, employees may initiate for circumstantial reasons if given permission by the customer.

Informational: Customer can give their number to the Fashion Camp to contact them, and the message does not require a response from the customer. Texting will be used to update customers on their current service orders. Text messaging will be used to inform customers of shipping notifications. Texting will be used to confirm registration of classes and workshops.

Promotional: Customer signed up to receive marketing information or messages requiring a specific response/action. This number will be used to request feedback via SMS messaging for experience with the delivery process. Text messaging will be used for customer care and marketing promotions.Text messaging will be used to confirm appointments. The customer will need to reply Y or N to confirm.


To opt out of the texting service using one of the following methods:   

  • Text STOP to unsubscribe from these alerts at any time
    • To undo this, text START to begin receiving messages again.You will receive a Reply with confirmation that you have unsubscribed AND no further messages will be delivered. 
  • Contact Fashion Camp email or call the studio 714.259.0946 to remove the phone number given for text message notifications.
    • After receiving a message, text STOP to stop receiving messages. You will receive a confirmation text. To undo this, text START to begin receiving messages again.
